Sensually magical is how I would sum upwards this romance. The second book in this new series is more playful and at times, mischievous than the first. Sometimes, I wonder if Ms. Blevins is writing books just for me. It feels this way because I loved so many things about this volume. For those who take never read a Ms. Blevins book, this can exist read as a standalone. Alarm, this may cause a sudden demand to read the two other series that revolve effectually this paranormal world.

What did I beloved? I loved the different shifter animals. Most people think of werewolves and cats when they read of shifter stories. Dragons are pop albeit a bit less than wolves and felines. The exploration and expansion into a mongoose shifter tickles me pink. Especially when this adorable critter turns into a ferocious lawyer in human course. Although one can argue that Tess, the lawyer is beautiful as a push button in her human class and just as ferocious in her animal grade. A sure squirrel may attest to Tess'southward ferocity when she is a mongoose. If there was 1 matter I would take liked a scrap more than was more mongoose and bobcat time.

The suspense role of this story added another layer of richness by creating tension and conflict in Tess'southward budding human relationship with Bobcat. Their courting is a clash of wills equally the 2 examination to see who is more dominant. I tin appreciate this because Tess wants a male who will be able to accept her take charge mental attitude, wealth and ability to defend. An insecure male who exerts strength through beatings into submission or deriding her accomplishments is worthless to Tess. I can relate. Tess is a strong female who needs a partner. Is Bobcat worthy?

This authorization trip the light fantastic toe can be intense at times and softer when a reader to the lowest degree expects it. The subplot of recovering from a major supernatural war gives insight and depth into Bobcat's character. His twenty-four hour period chore is one I can chronicle to, even if I don't manage a strip club. Information technology is his leadership style and how he unwinds dysfunctional behaviours of his employees to get a functional squad that appeals to me. I must acknowledge, I am envious that he canes disobedient workers and enjoys a side benefit of anal. If just...

Tess'southward client issue which brings in the suspense element and why she needs bodyguards speaks to my need for justice. Sometimes, justice is not played out in the courtroom of law and other methods are needed. The desire for those who are hypocrites to exist brought down is potent within me. Tess'southward decisions and actions are swift and cute to witness. The fallout, retaliation and subsequent brutal render volley makes my middle soar in delight. There is something so erotic and appealing about males who can protect, defend and and so switch to offense.

Ms. Blevins weaves all these tantalizing elements into a tale which kept me up all night. This volume is a folio turner with sense of humour, erotic kinky sweetness, stern alpha field of study and primal pleasure. This book is highly recommended to paranormal readers who love their romance with a spicy bite and sassy female person lead.

So, Candace really brought it with Bobcat. Information technology was interesting knowing what was going on while Dementor and Ember were getting to "know" one another. But, that was just 1 thing that I enjoyed almost this book.

Bobcat was interesting. Ascendant still understanding. Tough yet compassionate. Unyielding in some things yet a softy in others. He was loyal, loving and totally committed to his MC brothers in both Chattanooga and Birmingham. So he meets Tess and his life becomes a little bit complicated. He needs submission … she needs domination only can't submit. Information technology makes for a very interesting union.

Tess is tough. She is intelligent and knows how to exercise her chore. She'll do whatever information technology takes to help her clients … guilty or not. It's that drive and determination that puts her in the predicament she's at present in. The only bright spot to that is Bobcat. A mongoose and a bobcat should not be this attracted to each other. Neither is monogamous merely her mongoose wants zippo more than than to be with the bobcat. Just, this is temporary so she'll take what she can get while she can go information technology.

Every bit Bobcat and Tess navigate the murky waters of him beingness MC and she existence an attorney, never mind the animal role, they find that their hearts take become involved. It's time to put an stop to the issues she's having and to move frontward with their lives.

I adored this story. The sex scenes were truly consensual yet bordered on non-consensual. Until Tess submitted … then it was truly making love with a "chip" of kink. They worked together and it showed in the story. You lot can tell that they clicked the infinitesimal they met each other and with the way they treated each other. It was interesting watching them take the voyage from lust to love. And, the ending. Oh, Bobcat stole my heart. Yes, that caring, loving, agreement human shone through and I loved it.

Like I said, Candace really brought information technology with Bobcat. She showed the kink, she showed beloved and she fabricated the story very interesting with the bit of suspense she threw in.

This is a story of opposites alluring. He's a biker in a one percenter society. She'due south a lawyer. He's a bobcat shifter she a mongoose shifter. They are both tough as hell. She needs someone strong who isn't a bully. Bobcat fits the nib. These two are terrific together. This is a rough sexy tale that will have you alternately sweating and cussing.

While I similar BDSM books, this one was a not quite my flavour, I'm not big into consensual not-con. So why y'all inquire do I keep reading, #1 I similar the world these are set in, so many series connect, #2 there are usually weird shifters and I similar to read about the weird ones. This volume is a bobcat, sort of normal and a mongoose, aye a mongoose, never read a book with one of those.

What I really liked about this ane was that from the first Bobcat (yes that is his proper name and his beast) and Tess talked most things from the first and through out their relationship they kept talking, really merely having bug when they got a piffling too in their head and stopped talking. But even that was chop-chop cleared upwardly. For the most office they were on the same page, fifty-fifty as things changed, they were right there, maybe fighting a scrap in their head. There were times I wasn't sure if the drama that Tess concluded up in helped or hurt them, it seemed both at different times.

I liked how these two were able to piece of work things out, to figure out a way to have each other, despite their very different jobs and animals and be happy.

On a side note, I recall some of my favorite parts of this one was when the two of them introduced their animals and then let them play. And then much fun!

Candace Blevins' "Bobcat" is book 2 in the new RTMC Birmingham series and I couldn't be more pleased about it. I LOVED the back and forth between Bobcat and Tess. So much so that for most of the volume, I was grinning or chuckling or both. And then when they practise finally gather…LOVED IT! If I were to differentiate "Bobcat" from "Dementor", I'd say that "Bobcat" is giving us much more than of what it's similar in the Birmingham RTMC and I'm really enjoying those details.

It'due south no secret that I enjoy paranormal romances and Candace Blevins writes some of the best out there that but checks all the boxes for me. Can't recommend plenty.

DNF @60%. I am really having a difficult fourth dimension in Birmingham. I tin can't connect with the characters. Bobcat seemed very reasonable. The perfect guy just he also seemed like a robot. I got nigh lx% of the mode in but realized I was just non enjoying it and didn't care about Tess at all. And this despite that I loved her kink. I totally get that but I had been reading it for four days. That's unheard of for me then I had to conclude that I needed to find something else to read.

Every Candace Blevins book is a journeying and this ane is no exception. The setting is post Armageddon and while good just barely hung on, there is a new reality for humans and supernaturals akin. And that setting is admittedly tangible in this very immersive experience.

Bobcat and Tess just feel right. From the become-go, ii very distinct and self-actualized personalities manage to merge into a believable and relatable pair, in a very organic way. Even in the midst of the suspense and intrigue and danger to life-and-limb, the mesh between the relationship and the circumstances in which they need to create their pairing beautifully enhances the reading experience.
And a consuming experience information technology it is.

I think this is one of my favourite books. Its an intense relationship in an intense setting, and a captivating reading experience but with the feeling that you're office of the events, not but turning the folio.

I actually like this new world that Candace Blevins has created. The battle of good and evil is over. Life is slowly forming a new normal. Businesses are struggling to constitute their place in this new globe. Even the local Rolling Thunder affiliate is struggling for numbers. Enter Bobcat, an RTMC member from Chattanooga. His fourth dimension in Birmingham is to be brusque. Straighten out the dance guild/brothel and get dorsum to Chattanooga. What could peradventure change his mind?

Enter Tess, ruthless Guild attorney, and oddly enough, mongoose shifter. Her graphic symbol, just like her brute is ruthless. She takes no prisoners in the court, but desperately needs a partner that can handle her. Turns out a Bobcat knows just how to handle a mongoose...who knew. Tess is the kind of grapheme that I'yard non sure would exist all that likeable in real life, but works really well as a character, particularly in this story. Although I did actually capeesh her willingness to stand up to her client, even if it meant putting her own life on the line. I also appreciated it for the fact that information technology brought in the demand for the whole Drake Security crew to make an advent in the story.

This story is definitely enjoyable to read. The intensity was pretty mild for this author, but may still be a little more than some readers are prepared for. Similar always, the story is really well thought out, with lots of details. It's definitely worth reading

Things in the south are all the same in disarray since the large battle between good and evil. (Unhuman Acts) Bobcat is a bobcat shifter on temporary loan to the Birmingham MC from the Chattanooga chapter of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Social club. Tess McNight is a mongoose shifter and chaser for the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Gild Birmingham affiliate.
Bobcat was hired to manage the RTMC Birmingham stripper bar. Information technology's nothing similar managing a hotel but fortunately Bobcat is smart and figures out what needs to be washed to handle the employees. Tess has to brand certain that Bobcat knows what to practise to preclude  local constabulary enforcement from learning all of the club's illeagal activities. When Tess meets Bobcat it's instant concrete attraction merely it's going to take a lot more than that to bring a bobcat and mongoose together equally mates.
There is drama, danger, and intrigue when the life of one of Tess' clients is threatened and she gets caught in a dangerous government coverup.
This was a very nice read. At that place was some BDSM only it was light compared to Dementor. I wish the story had been a little longer with details of Tess getting to know the Chattanooga people.
